Wednesday 12th February

The remaining 17 Shetlands greeted me in the Central Compound. All look in good shape, spritely & very interested in following me i think after today's events.

None showed sign of sickness. I did tidy them up a little removing stuck branches. 



All Gates and fencing fine. The vehicle gate from Eastern to Central compound had not been locked with the chain. I have now locked this. 
All 5 water troughs full. I have moved the Nuts tub to the tree by the water troughs so they are on higher ground. They were on the pallet by the fence and we all know they would have worked out how to get into it.

4 dog walkers & 5 dogs off lead spotted entering the reserve. I advised them the flock had been moved and would be careful entering as the sheep were by gate 11 when I left.

    All 39 sheep counted, none limping.  No other issues noted, no dog walkers. Feed is however running low.

Tuesday 3rd March - Sheep off-site!
