Counted 43 WFW, 27 being around the biggest yew, 15 shaded by another nearby yew which has the surrounding fencing flattened on one side. Didn't wish to distress them further in the heat so backed off when they started descending to join the other shorn woolies. Strode around the usual shady spots but scrub too dense & prickly. Definitely harder when they're all the same variety. Plenty of butterflies & bees. Gates, troughs all fine. No one else crazy enough to be out on the crispy downs except my teenagers & they were under duress!
