Sunday 9th February

Unfortunately we have to report one dead one (all other 18 fine, bar some with brambles caught in their fleece). The dead one is in the overgrown bit to the left of the ‘valley’ as you walk down from the top. It is up against a fence by some yews (not the compartment fence). I could show the Hampshire Wildlife people tomorrow after 10:30 if you would like.

They found another sheep baa-ing the wrong side of the fence, near by the dead one. See photo of the fencing, which is in a bad way. When they bought the nuts up this sheep jumped back over the fence to where the rest of the flock were.
