Cindy Tetstall

So, my first morning of livestock lookering by myself can only be described as a fail. After several attempts and counting just 44/45 sheep, I searched about as they began to wander away and eventually found a group of 14 at the far end of the quarry.  But I can't be absolutely sure they weren't ones I'd already counted.

There were no gates left open or gaps in the fencing so I hope none escaped and it's just that I hadn't called loudly enough to alert them all before counting.

Water trough was full with a full refill container beside it and still plenty of nuts left in the tub.

The fallen tree that was blocking the southern byway has been cut back leaving the route accessible to vehicles.
