If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure: Call the office on 01489 774400. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly. NOTES: Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call. If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed. Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact. Thank you!

Monday 17th August

Found 43 Sheep at the bottom of the hill, directly down from the SE gate, prior to the Livestock team arriving. All 43 looked fit and healthy (and I was particularly looking out for the injured one).

The 2 missing sheep were the one with the infected ear and the one injured from the dog attack (tail/hind left thigh/glute )(which has now been removed from site), see blog from Ned below. These two were quite hidden from the others and on their own.

All gates and fences were fine and the water troughs are full.

No dogs or walkers seen in the Eastern Compartment (and we were there longer than usual).
