45 white face woodlands all found together at the bottom of the Eastern slope. All seemed healthy. Water troughs both full. 

All three gates checked. gate 9 (the south western gate between East and Central ) has no means of latching, although it is sprung. South eastern gate (top of the slope, on to the footpath) latch doesn't latch reliably,  and spring doesn't fully close it. This could be an escape route if the gate is left in the half way position. North west gate ok.

One visitor, a birder, and no dogs present this morning.
