Sunday 28th June
Cut back some overhanging branches & brambles along with other lower foliage on the footpaths. There were no signs of any bonfires having been lit, so all good. Broughton Down was looking lovely in the Summer sunshine with loads of large white, small white & marbled white butterflies enjoying the wildflowers & Dark Green Fritillary. We did spot a new beech tree shoot growing from a very old moss-covered tree stump!!.....Mother nature is amazing.

All looks good on the Downs, very little rubbish except dog poo bags left to pick up! No evidence of any recent fires and trimming back on footpaths done where needed.
