Wednesday 26th February

All 17 Shetland sheep accountable in central compound. 13 were near the trees and troughs. 4 found later wondering near the Western fence line.

2 x Shetlands number 217 & 175 are both snotty. Green snot in particular, not something I have come across before. Does this need extra attention by the Grazing Team? The sheep in question, appeared to be fine otherwise apart from looking like 2 year old toddlers.

217 - Snotty
175 - Snotty
I located the limping young ewe - number 134. Front right hoof is sore, she's getting around OK but it's affecting her walk and is avoiding putting any weight on it.

134 - Limping
All Gates and fencing fine.

All 5 water troughs full, Mineral lick empty & 2 days worth of sheep nuts left in tub.

No walkers or dogs seen on site. Not surprising, it was torrential rain and a river was running through the Clarenden Way.
