If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure: Call the office on 01489 774400. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly. NOTES: Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call. If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed. Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact. Thank you!

Thursday 31st October

 Found all 49 sheep today.

30 came to me to be fed sheep nuts none of these were limping and all looked healthy.

There were another 8 (5 WFW, 3 Shetlands) out on North slope which didn't come to me

and a further 11 (5 WFW, 6 Shetlands) just under the nearby trees on the edge of the bowl.

Luckily, one of these 6 Shetlands was on the edge of the woodland.

Plenty of food, water near full, no dogs seen in compartment (or central), a few dog walkers

outside the compartments.

"No Fence, on Bonfire"on both sides of the gate and "Keep Out" on the post as you head from the

Eastern Side. I suspect children messing about,  but the weather will remove it as it is in chalk.
