All sheep moved off

Tue 14 dec

48 sheep came to the bottom of the wood, three stayed at the top of the steep wooded slope, I climbed to them and they seemed to be OK and moving fine. 

Monday 13th December

​All 51 sheep counted and were grazing in two groups. Nothing to report and water all good

Saturday 11th December

 All 51 sheep were quietly grazing in two groups in the Western compartment. Both troughs OK. After Wednesday December 15th I'll email the village on the group email to let them know the sheep are being taken to a farm until May 2022.  Pippa & Tim Evans

Plan to move sheep off Wednesday

sheep will be moved off the down Wednesday morning and taken to farm.

All 51 sheep present and no lameness seen. Water levels all good and nothing to report

Tues 7th dec

I think sheep were all present but I didn't manage an accurate count this morning, definitely 47 and I found another 4 in the woods, but Im not sure I wasn't double counting by then. I walked the lower slopes of the woods just in case and didn't find anything amiss.I didn't observe any lameness. Troughs and gates fine. 

Monday 6th Dec

All 51 sheep present. Water levels fine and no issues seen

Sunday 5th December

 Mark Redman went today and found no issues with the sheep. He bailed out the water trough and scrubbed it clean. Pippa Evans

Friday 3 December

51 sheep seen. Originally 52 sheep however one found dead. Tags recovered from dead white face woodland. 

Friday 3 December

 50 sheep counted. 2 groups,  in west 28, group in east 22. Cyclist with dog off lead cautioned re sheep near top east gate. Dog put on lead he said he would leave the enclosure. Nick

Wed 1st Dec

 All 52 sheep counted, one of the white-faced was lame today, and another one of the white-faced seems to have really long hooves on her hind legs so maybe something to keep an eye on, water levels were all ok
