Friday 29th October

All 52 sheep seen, 40 were at the beginning slopes the final 12 were in the forest hiding from the rain. I brought them back to the coral to feed them. All look okay, I couldn't see any limpers and they seem in good condition. 

Tuesday 26 October

52 sheep counted this morning. I believe that is 52 different individuals bit I can't be sure. 9 came to me on the lower west slope, but I have spent an hour searching for the rest of the little bleeders!  Anyway, eventually found them, emerging from a place I had already checked twice, and there were 43. By the time I got back the group of 9 had dispersed. No lameness seen, but I didn't look carefully after all that. Troughs both full, plenty of nuts. Now, let's make sure they haven't found the biscuits in my bike bag while I have been gone ...

Saturday 23rd October

52 sheep, water trough good, notices on gates OK. The nuts have been moved to the Western compartment and are hanging from a tree near the trough. Pippa Evans pp Lizzie Lane

Tue 19 oct

52 sheep in the western section. One bad limp front left leg (facing right in photo but too shy to get close to). Main trough good. Temporary trough has water but rather green with algae. Sheep came to me easily which was nice (I am rather hoarse this morning and it hurt to shout!)

Sunday 17th October

52 came from the Western compartment to the Central, all seemed to be healthy. Troughs full. Pippa Evans pp Chris Lloyd

Friday 15th Oct

All 52 sheep together in pit in Western compartment. No issues seen. Topped up western trough.

Saturday October 9th

 All 52 sheep accounted for. 2 limping Shetlands. Water troughs good. Signs intact. Pippa Evans

Fri 8th Oct

All 52 sheep grazing in West. No issues seen. Still have run of central and west. Signs on all gates around 2 compartments now.

Sheep Off site!

We have taken 8 white face Woodlands off site and back to our farm. 52 left but currently in the central and western compartment for some new grazing.

Tuesday 5 oct

60 sheep counted. Many were lying or kneeling so I did not check for lameness, but I didn't see a limp. Water and food OK. Number 328 is overly friendly, continually jumping up and catching hoof in my pocket, I have a slight concern that he could mistake a visitor with a picnic box for one of us and cause a fright. Ravens having fun overhead.

Monday 4th Oct

Lots of bird activity on sight and most of the sheep were out grazing when I arrived. Sheep seemed well and all 60 counted.
