The water trough is full. The sheep were in the woods so a bit tricky to count but got near to 60 each time. Pippa Evans

Friday 28th August wasp nest
Checking on sheep today, me and the sheep, not sure who, disturbed a ground wasp nest. This was in thebwestern compartments on the main slope facing the plantation.
We hope to get signs out there but please take care f in the area.
I have informed the grazing team that the wasps did get into the coats of the sheep.
Before the mayhem I managed a count of 57. I left a yellow bucket near the scene
Thanks,
Bea

Monday 24th August
My count got me to 60 and they are all looking well.
The trough is full to the top and there are still two full water containers to top up later on in the week if needed.
A railing on the kissing gate by the western caralle has come loose which needs fixing, two screws have snapped off and this railing is holding up the livestock netting.
Thanks,
Bea

Friday 7th August
Couldn't get an accurate count today sheep were scattered shading from the heat. There were ten in the western compartment and only managed to get six back into central. The other four were very content and even skipped a bit as they followed me - after I tried to get them back in the other compartment!
Both troughs are fine.
