Counted 49. Eventually found 50th lying down on it's own. When approached it got up and walked slowly away, no visible signs of distress. Trough full. Pippa & Tim Evans

Only counting 50 sheep after many attempts. The grazing team have been made aware.

50 sheep and trough full. Tim & I spent some time doing a very thorough search in the Western Compartment. Unfortunately no signs of a single sheep alive or dead. Pippa & Tim Evans

Still only 50 sheep. Looked around central and eastern compartments, but no luck. Trough full.

Fri 11th Oct

50 sheep only. One missing. Looked around western compartment, but no luck. Trough full.

Sun Oct 13th

Our volunteer counted 50 sheep after two attempts. The sheep came out of the woods where they were sheltering from the wet weather and looked healthy. Trough full. We'll try a thorough search on Wed for the missing one. Pippa Evans

I can't be absolutely sure but my friend got to 51 on a couple of counts otherwise it was always 50. Trough full.    Pippa Evans

Counted 50 sheep. 1 missing. Had look around for 40 mins, but light fading. Trough full.

All 51 sheep on lower slopes and emerging from the Gypsy Swing Dell. Trough full. Red kites enjoying the lovely sunny morning.  Pippa Evans
